Illustra and NSAPI
Posted in 1997
I am having a problem trying to query an Illustra (3.3) database from an Netscape NSAPI application running on an Enterprise 2.01 web server. The host platform is Solaris 2.5.1 running on an Ultra server. The code I am using works fine in a stand alone program, but starts to fail when I make an mi_next_row() call the row returned is invalid because every other call I make with that row I get the following error: MI_LIB_BADARG: Argument is not a valid MI_ROW I get the same thing if I use mi_get_row_desc_without_row() to get an MI_ROW_DESC. The row desc returned is invalid. When processing MI_DML's from mi_get_result() the command returned from mi_result_command_name() and row count from mi_result_row_count() work just fine. Has anybody come across this problem and found solutions? Regards -- Kevan Heydon
