You can use dbexport/dbimport. If you're on the server machine, use these
simplified commands:
dbexport <database_name> -ss
dbimport <database_name> -l buffered
dbexport will create a new subdirectory named <database_name>.exp within the
current directory. The optional -ss will include the schema parameters
(ex:dbspaces).
dbimport will recreate the database schema and reimport all data. The
optional -l buffered will create the database with buffered logging.
If you want to use these commands from a client machine, put its name in the
server's hosts.equiv file. Configure the sqlhosts file for the remote server
on the client machine. Don't forget to specify the INFORMIXSERVER env.
variable.
