SQL Editor 400 does not work with Client SDK 3.5

My SQL Editor does not install over Client SDK 3.5. My system is Windows 2008 Server, and my Informix Server is version 7.31 TD9. SQL Editor tells me that needs I-Connect 2.30 or Above, but, SDK is 3.5. ¿Why does not work?. ¿Anyone can tell me how to find a newer SQL Editor version?. Tx. Gustavo Echenique
