Does anyone know if its possible to run an Informix "LOAD FROM ...... INSERT INTO....." statement from within Java using the Informix JDBC? I'm trying it and just keep getting a "syntax error occured" exception, but I've checked the Load statement and it works in dbaccess. Hope some one can help!

If you cannot use the standard tools for loading (dbload, dbimport, onload), but have to write your own code, use an INSERT CURSOR and the PUT command to get a high load performance.
