Dennis J. Pimple recently wrote
dbschema -d dbname [outputfile] would give everything dbschema couldprovide and the "-t" option implies otherwise. We have been using
Informix since 2.10 and have apparently been misreading the
discussion on dbschema the whole time. I just read the 5.0 version
of dbschema, and sure enough it says what Dennis says. Although,
not as clearly as Dennis said.

I must say, I have gotten better information from the Informix techs
(from informix.com) by reading this list than I have from trying to
call them.
