According to last year's Informix conference: NUMCPUVPS set to number of CPUs NETTYPE Configure one poll thread for each CPU VP and be sure to run poll threads on CPU VPs BUFFERS MaximizeCLEANERS Set to number of chunks allocated for the largest table CKPINTVL Set to large interval LRUS Allocate 1 queue pair per 500 to 750 buffers up to 128 max allowed LRU_MAX_DIRTY Set to 80 LRU_MIN_DIRTY Set to 70 Hope this helps.
