Of course you can also use unload and load functions in both databases. They are compatible enough that you can use the standard built inn functions in both for this. If you use ODBC you may find you do not need to transfer the data at all. You can easily access the data in your Informix database directly from MS Access. This of course assumes the databases are connected via some nettwork where you can run ODBC (a TCP/IP network). Do read you Access manuals on how to connect to external ODBC databases (or ask in the MS Access newsgroup).
