Hi I am facing problem with informix 7:31 on HPUX11.11 server. We have application where we 12-13 program getting executed continously.we create raw tables in the first step and some intermediate steps . then we carry out our updates on these table. we modify the base tables from which thse tables are created. And at the end we create ASCII files which will be loaded to another database. I am facing the problem is sometimes during the table read it is missing records. Because of which sometimes file output is not proper. this problem we are unable to simulate but comes at some places. Anybody any such experience or suggestions, please share your suggestions or ideas . Regards Debadatta
Debadatta Are you setting an isolation mode anywhere? are you setting a lock mode anywhere? Either of these can affect the records returned from a query.
