Error Message -45

It seems that some sockets (on our platform those in the 1024-5000 range) are reserved for system use, though that's not well documented and only causes problems once in a while. We are having to change our sockets to numbers in the > 5000 range to avoid this problem. That's probably not what's wrong for you, but maybe.
