Remember also PSORT_NPROCS and PSORT_DBTEMP can be set to allow parallel sorting. PSORT_DBTEMP can even be set to multiple directories. e.g. different disks. setenv PSORT_DBTEMP /tmp1:/tmp2:/tmp3 setenv PSORT_NPROCS 3 setenv DBTEMP /tmp Implict temporary tables?? I'm not sure. Think they are affected by DBTEMP but I would have to try it. -- David Williams
