Yes. PeopleSoft recommends CR for isolation. We have PeopleSoft software and the same problem whit the locks. Several process takes a lot of locks so we had to increase the LOCKS parameter in Informix to 2000000 but even so sometimes we have to change the lock mode in some tables to use PAGE MODE.
