Their titles are: "Implementing High Availability Informix Solutions With Unix" August 1993 Peter S. Simcox Informix Software, Inc "The Benefits of RAID Technology in an Informix Environment" June 1994 Bill Zujewski Informix Software, Inc They have bibliographies, and can provide a good starter course in RAID applications theory. I think they are available from Informix. If not I can fax the ancient fax copies I have again. RAID has a place, maybe it's right for you. __________________________________________________________________ | Clem Akins Standard Disclaimers Apply | |Reynolds Metals Co, Alloys Plant "Climb High, Cave Deep!" | | Muscle Shoals, Alabama USA cwakins@leia.alloys.rmc.com | |________________________________________________________________|
