You can dynamically drop the logs as well. Dynamic logs don't kick in untill long transaction has been reached, so the transaction that led to the issue is already on it's way to being rolled-back. I agree that prevention is the best solution, but with Fry's now selling disks at below $2.00 per Gig - well --- M.P.
