The service name and host > name on client and server are ok Boy, this rings a bell. I don't know if this is the same problem we had with our NewEra to NT OnLine connectivity, but what we found was that although the ping worked fine, the I-Net (or whatever) was looking up the wrong connection. The way we verified this was to attempt the connection and then, very quickly, run a netstat in a separate window. This showed us that connections were opened to a different machine than we were expecting to connect to (based on the ping). If this does turn out to be your problem, e-mail me and I'll see if I can dredge out the solution from the guy who actually fixed it. HTH. -- Ciao, Billy "...nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat..."
