Hi Jacob, a couple of years ago we had an installation with 10+GB,60+ Users, 25+ HDs,j.a. 20000 TPC-C type of Transactions per Day. Running SE. Especially if you have a partially C-ISAM based application your speed will rarely improve by moving to IDS7.30, in many cases it might even decrease. If your application is only based on SQL it is very likely that you will have a better throughput using IDS 7.30 - if !!! and only if you have an adequate hardware inventory.
