Does the HTML Client of Dynamic 4gl handle BEFORE/AFTER FIELD processing the same as in standard 4gl? Thanks Michael Gabbard Red Man Pipe & Supply Company 8023 East 63rd Place -- Suite 800 --Tulsa, Oklahoma 74133

The browser input model does not tell you when you leave on field and enter the next, so the user can hop around all over the place on the form. The BF/AF clauses are triggered when the data is sent to the D4GL application, but that's too late to do things like place the cursor with NEXT FIELD. Note that this is a problem caused by HTTP. Also, the Java client won't suffer from that problem when it is released later this year. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
