Archive 0 Problem

Re: Level 0 Archive Could anyone please shed some light on the problem we are facing in Archiving of our Database. Our Database Size : 2 GKB In prior Occasions System used to ask for second tape. But this particular instance, system failed to prompt, instead gave error = 28. Instance(s) Performed in Informix: Performing archive of the entire INFORMIX-OnLine system. Please mount tape and press Return to continue ... Please enter the level of archive to be performed (0, 1, or 2) 0 Error writing to tape device, Error No. = 28. Error = 28 Explanation is : -28 No space left on device. An operating system error code with the meaning shown was unexpectedly returned to the database server. This probably reflects either a database table or an ASCII output file that has filled the available disk space. Look for operating system error messages that may give more information. We actually Checked Free Space on the System, which seems to be suffice for process, if in case Informix uses temporary disk space in archiving. Tape is also of good order. 1 Gig Any help will be appreciated. Platform: HP-UX/8.0/847 INFORMIX ON-LINE 5.0
