You must set the INFORMIXTERM environment variable to terminfo. Informix products will then use the terminfo directory indicated by the TERMINFO environment variable (or /usr/lib/terminfo) if TERMINFO is not set. All of this information is located in the Informix 4GL Reference Manual (Appendix I) version 4.00 and Informix SQL User Guide (Appendix J) version 4.00. Kelly Todd Atlanta CSE
