One problem I see with SQL Retriever is they do not support Windows NT on the server side (and they beeing unix types aren't very likely to ever support it, although I have never asked them for their plans). I don't remeber off my head whether Openlink does either, but they are at least more likely to. And they do support Informix 7 now. They where late to do it, so that's a negative sign. I wouldn't want to use an ODBC driver that doesn't support the most likely OS's, and whatever your opinion may be of Windows NT, it may one day be the OS you want (or have to) use for some purpose.
