IDS 7.31 memory limits in Windows 2000

Hello!
I have one IDS 7.31 instance running in a Xeon bi-processor with
Windows 2000 Server installed (for test purposes). The databases are
copied regularly from out production environment (IDS 7.31 - AIX 4.3.3).
The W2K Server have 4 Gb RAM memory but I can't assign more than 1,5 Gb
(aprox.) to the oninit process. I have seen other installations of IDS
in other OS and normally, have varios oninit processes running. In
Windows there's only one, and I think that the trouble in this case is
the amount of memory that one process can manage in Win32.
Anybody knows any way to assign more memory to my IDS instance??. I
need to increase my bufferpool.
Please, send your answers to my private e-mail too.
Thanks in advance.
PD: Excuse me if my english is not good :(

I think there is no 64 bits version of informix server in windows platform, in a 32 bit informix version, you can not malloc memory exceed 2G -- Posted via http://dbforums.com
