Re: end of tape reached before TAPE SIZE

The ontape utility cannot deal with the end of a tape. period.
We set TAPESIZE to 7GB. Our backup scripts read the ontape output
and when it needs the 2nd (or 3rd ...) tape, it tell the operators
to mount the next tape. When this is done, the script sends a \\n
to ontape (with a named pipe).
