TBLOAD Question

Hi All, I was asked a question during a training course the other day and I was hoping someone out there may be able to comment: The question was... Is tbload smart enough to concatenate extents when restoring a table. My view is, if you are drop the original table and use tbload to restore the table it would fill in a similar way if the table was being restored into the same dbspace.
