Quite simply, it's not simple. How about: UPDATE mail_table SET mail = (SELECT mail FROM mail_table WHERE mail_user = "one_user") WHERE mail_user >= "other_users" ;) In unix, "man mail" and searching for "forward" yields a solution. Or you could just add multiple user names to the .forward file for "one user" in unix. Even dynamically, perhaps with sed. This would serve to provide an entire DBA team with mail sent to the informix user account, for example.
