In ESQL/C, that comes from sqlca.sqlerrm. You do things like: sprintf(buffer, msgstr, sqlca.sqlerrm); Where: buffer is the string which gets the fully expanded message msgstr is the string from rgetlmsg() or rgetmsg() In other languages, you probably have an uphill battle on your hands. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
