Delimiter-free Unload Utility

Does anyone know of a utility (Informix or other) that will allow us to unload an Informix table into a file without delimiters? Special characters are causing our DB2/MVS loads to fail. The data is unloaded from informix, then ftp'd to mvs and loaded into db2. This is what we'd like to see (for example) 123 John Doe 123 Any Street Anytown 156 Frank Smith Anytown etc. etc (ie the data is positional, not delimited, in the unload file) Any help would be appreciated.
