My sqlhosts file contains the line dbmain sesoctcp main infrmx /etc/services has the line infrmx 1536/tcp When I try to start sqlexecd I get the following error. daemon err = 25507: The specified service name or protocol is unknown The service name looks alright to me so I'm assuming the problem is with sesoctcp. Does anyone have ideas on what I'm doing wrong ? We're using Informix-SE 7.23 on SCO 5.0.5 Thanks Clint.
