There's an undocumented flag in libsql called forkflag (found using nm) which seems to correspond to the presence of an attached engine, and you'd have thought that sqlexit() would check this but it doesn't, so: extern int forkflag; if (forkflag) sqlexit(); *might* solve your problem, but then again we're running 4.10.
