I just went to a user meeting here in NYC where informix had a talk about CDR. I had a question regarding CDR, they didn't have the answer then and I have not heard anything as of yet. Maybe somebody out there can answer it for me. In the replication process, the timestamp is used to see when this specific transaction occurred. Now here is my question, what happens if the two servers are in different time zones, does it get fooled by the difference in time? I belive this was an issue with HDR. Better yet, what happens when the servers are in different timezones and one has daylight savings time and the other doesn't? Does CDR go crazy when one server's time is adjusted and the other isn't? thanks,
