If you would save the complete result into your array variable, or if you would store the absoltue position ( offset from the 1st row ) into your host-variable, then you can use the FETCH ABSOLUTE n statement to position your cursor at a specific position. But you will need a SCROLL CURSOR, in order to use FETCH ABSOLUTE. Bye Stefan
