Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hello,
doing a test cold restore using ontape -r of an informix database instance, version 12.10.FC5 on Rocky Linux version 8.10.
The restore runs without any issue, but when I start up the informix process through systemd with oninit it logs the following:
09:57:10 SCHAPI: Started 2 dbWorker threads.
09:57:10 SCHAPI: [Auto Update Statistics Refresh 41-525] Error -206 The specified table (informix.aus_cmd_info) is not in the database.
09:57:10 SCHAPI: [Auto Update Statistics Refresh 41-525] Error -111 ISAM error: no record found. When I start dbaccess on the sysadmin database, the table is listed though. When I restart the oninit process, the error is not logged anymore.
At
IBM Support
I find that it is a known issue in version 11.
Can someone shed some light on this log message? Can I ignore it ?
Thank you in advance,
Arjen Van Drie.

That the error really is gone I'd really trust only after at least one more night as AUS, by default, is scheduled to run at 1 am. ;-)
In any case, if I know this right, aus_cmd_info is an AUS helper table that's going to be purged/deleted and then re-create/re-populated with every AUS evaluation run anyway, so this might well be the reason for why the table is present now and the error is gone, but also an indication it can well be ignored.

Thank you Andreas,
I will let it run tonight on our test-restore host to see what the logs say tomorrow morning.
Thanks again,
Arjen.
