Hi, I'd checked the migrate guide on ids10, that if you want to upgrade online 5.x to ids10. The book Recommend migrate to ids7.31 then migrate to ids10. I wondered why . Can I just migrate from online 5.x to ids10 directly ?

Roger- Your best bet would be to export your Online 5 instance and import to IDS 10 and skip IDS 7.31 entirely. There is no direct upgrade path from 5 to 10 and I believe the upgrade path from 5 to 7 is an export anyway, (I don't have access to that manual right now) so... Why not save yourself some headaches and just import on 10, instead? --EEM -----Original Message----- From: informix-list-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:informix-list-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of roger@star2000.com.tw Sent: Thursday, March 15, 2007 3:34 PM To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: online 5.x migrate ids 10 Hi, I'd checked the migrate guide on ids10, that if you want to upgrade online 5.x to ids10.
