OK, For those who are coming in Sunday, I'll email you about some options. Since Informix has shifted tutorials to Tues, Monday Nite is Pre-Conference Nite. Monday Nite: House of Beers. Time ? : TBA (7:00? - Closing) Location. : Division Street 1/2 Block West of State and Division. (Cant miss it.) Now, they do serve bar food, but there are several other eateries and drinkeries on the street. (Alumni Club is accross the street, PJ Clarkes is around the corner on State.) Gibsons and Carmines are down the street. (Fancy and Dressy.) This is the heart of the tourist drinking area. (Lots of fun) House of Beers is Cigar Freindly and has a wide list of small breweries from around the states. Tuesday Nite: THE *OFFICIAL* C.D.I drink fest. Time : TBA (7:00 or so - 1:30 am ) Location : 400 North Mc Clurg Ct. If you are staying at the Sheraton (?sp), Just walk out the front door, face east, walk down the stairs on the east side of the building and head toward the River (South of you.) Or, just hit the basement where the hotel pub is, go outside next door. I am trying to get some drink specials going and will let you know what I find. BTW, I am willing to trade drinks and cigars for any really cool vendor goodies. So if you are from a vendor (Hint Hint Tom ;-) it would be nice to bring some along.
