Hay, netters, This is a very serious issue. What is the official INFORMIX line on this question? A few years ago they told our UK user group waht they were planning to do and we all laughed. So come on INFORMIX!!! What is being planned? Will it mean buying a new release of the software? Will it force me to buy a new database engine? or will it all be handled by the front-end? And will it be the same for all products, SQL, 4GL, NewError(freudian slip there), and ViewPoint? Users need to know!!
