The same problems occur with Hyperscript, if anyone still uses that ;-) There does not seem to be a way round it with on a version 7.24 engine. Have you tried Delphi 3 to see if the problem goes away - that uses a different Informix driver I think (?) I am told that the problem disappears when using Hyperscript on a version 9 engine (the Universal Server or whatever Informix is calling it this week) > [Borland will not contact Informix on this, and I don't have Informix > technical support available.] We do have Informix tech support.
