Ummmm, not all unixes are created equal and not all of them have sysadmsh. Not sure if the 3b2 series does - especially since (s)he didn't indicate a release level. SCO has had that sort of thing from way back. SVRn also has some very nice shell scripts to handle everyday tasks - whether or not sysadmsh is among them I no longer recall. A perhaps more normal installation of Informix is to either tar or cpio the files off of the media - depending on the version created for that OS, and then run the install scripts. There should be a copy of the installation manual that will walk you through the precise steps and order of installation at www.informix.com. Not sure of the exact path - my bookmarks have been trashed, but it's under products.
