Unresolved symobls from 32 to 64 bit...
Hi All, We are converting an informix appl from 32 bit to 64 bit. For that I have included fglsys.h. We are now seeing unresolved symbols as mentioned. I have the LD_LIBRARY_PATH set to the informix libraries. Please let me know if I hae missed something??? You do need include ${INFORMIXDIR}/incl/tools in your compiler
directions (-I${INFORMIXDIR}/incl/tools), and your LD_LIBRARY_PATH might
want to include these:
...
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:${INFORMIXDIR}/lib:${INFORMIXDIR}/lib/esql
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:${INFORMIXDIR}/lib/tools...

And the platform is HP-UX, so SHLIB_PATH will probably work better
than LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
libescl.sl is an application shared library, not one provided by
IBM/Informix. The local_log_lookup() function is all your problem --
99.7% probability. The library appears to be looking for a function
you've not defined when you recompiled.
The other names look like the 7.31 and later renamed I4GL interface
functions - your code might contain popquote(), popint(), retint(),
popshort() or thereabouts. I'm not sure how much you need to do when
you build a shared library on HP-UX, but you might need to include the
I4GL shared library in the link line that builds the shared library.
Alternatively, you may need to put -lescl earlier on the link line for
the application.
