What are you trying to do with the "replication"? Is this meant to be a fail-over server with all committed data?? Have you looked at HDR? ER? Or do you need to just make a copy? What backup software are you using? Do you have a Tape device? How Big is the database? Depending on what you are wanting to do there are slight differences to getting there. I am willing to write up steps for you. For the most part they are right out of the doc's but I have done all of the above many times and will try to provide as much detail as I can.
