PAM authentification

Dear all we are using Client SDK 2.81 (inculding login and password) against IDS 9.30.UC4 on SCO UnixWare 7.1.3 When connecting from ESQL/C to the IDS server everything works fine. But in online.log message file on the server strange warning appears. It something like environment variable CNTL_PAM_CAPABLE was too long. In fact we are not using such variable and don't want to use PAM so far. However to setup this variable correctly might prevent online.log massive growth. Does anybody knows how to setup it? Please?
