The correct answer is: it depends. Blobs located in the tblspace are logged in full. Blobs stored in blobspaces are handled as Paul describes above. When you create a table with a blob column, you can specify where you want the blob stored, in tblspace or blobspace. If you do not specify, it will be located in the tblspace by default. Dave
