Andrew, Some humor for your Pentium situation. Let me tell you a story about informix "user" licensing. I recently upgraded from SE on a 3B2 to ONLINE 5.0 on a Starserver E 660. Although I was very pleased with the performance increase. Getting their definition on what a "user" is was no easy task. My VAR got one story. I got 2 other different storys. Finally the sales rep for Informix told me to go by head count, not active sessions or the number of Online Engines you can run nor the number of windows opened by a terminal to the OS. Turns out user limit isn't "policed" in 5.0 and probably won't be until 6 or 7.0 So getting an answer on Pentium pricing shouldn't come easy either. Good Luck, Brian London IS Director J.M.
