If I read this correctly, you are doing 1 of 2 things: 1) Recreating the 4gi by cating all the 4go's together again, after transfering the new file. 2) Extracting the old copy of the 4go from the 4gi and inserting the new 4go code in its place. (How do you handle changes to globals?). I am interested in the later, since I want to cut the 4gos out of the 4gi to remove redundant functions and duplicated globals. Ideally I want to read/construct the symbol table contained in the 4gi and use that to determine what I need to remove. Mark Denham BBC London, UK Mark.Denham@bbc.co.uk
