PowerBuilder to Informix ESQL/C (was: Powerbuilder-Informix Conectivity)

Jim, I have a related (somehow) question: After making a connection to informix, how come the dbhandle does not return the correct pointer to the connection information. Dbhandle works for Sybase and Oracle, but not Informix. The reason I need dbhandle is to pass the connection information to a DLL developed by using Informix ESQL/C. Without the dbhandle, I must start a new connection in the DLL. This violates database integrity of a transaction. I have tried to solve the problem since PowerBuilder 3.x, yet the technical support claimed there was no problem with dbhandle. Last year, I finally got a lady from PowerSoft technical support admitted it was a problem, but then she closed the issue for an unknown reason. Can you help? Chao Y.
