Problems in Informix6.0 Installation.

Hi, We seem to have a problem with our Informix 6.0 ( Dynamic Server ) installation. I present two cases: Case : 1> $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts file has an entry dynamic onipcshm chanakya online_1 ----Informix when brought up by "oninit" comes up but when onmonitor is envoked it gives the following error message in the log file and says "WARNING : network down" and brings informix down again. Our kernel setup is exactly as mentioned in the Informix Recommended setup guidelines. Hardware is : COMPAQ Pentium Server with SCO-ODT (Unix) SVR 3.2.4 Has any one encountered this kind of problem before ? Is it something to do with the SVR version of unix ??
