On NT, sqlhosts is in the registry ... in something/SOFTWARE/INFORMIX/sqlhosts TAKE CARE!! (I dont have permission to run regedit on any NT i can get onto at present). I've found the port number. In fact, I am using Informix on NT. I can't find the file named sqlhosts. I can only find DBServer in $INFORMIXDIR/etc/onconfig. But the file winnt/system32/drivers/etc/services needs service name but not dbserver name. I've found the port number already since I learned the service name from somewhere else, but I still hope to know where to find the service name on NT.
