When I need to mimic Oracle's TRUNCATE, I do this:
Save the table schema using dbschema.
Drop the table
Recreate the table.

Hi
I want to delete all the records from a table with a command that is
similar to TRUNCATE table tablename option in ORACLE.
Can any one give me how can I delete records from table very fast
without using DELETE statement?
