We installed RedHat 6.0, Informix 4gl 7.20ud7 for Linux and Informix Dynamic Server 7.30uc7-2. Database server works perfectly, but every compiled program makes segmentation fault. On RedHat 5.1 was everything OK. Environment variables are the same on RedHat 5.1 and 6.0, so this is not a problem. I suspect that the problem is in glibc version, but don't know how to solve the problem Goran goran@abit.hr

I'm not sure if it was overkill but I installed these and it solved the problem: compat-glibc compat-libs compat-binutils Then modify your default compiler in $INFORIMIXDIR/bin/c4gl to point to this: CC=${CC:-i386-glibc20-linux-gcc} That works for me, no more seg faults ray
