Bugs on 4GL/RDS 4.13 on HP-UX 9.04

Dear Informix users We encountered this bug on the latest version of Informix 4GL/RDS that we are upgrading to. We are using, - Informix OnLine 5.04UD2 - Informix 4GL/RDS 4.13UD1 on HP9000 series 807. We will porting to our HP9000 series 857 this Saturday. We are currently upgrading all our applications. These applications are ported from HP-UX 9.01 and were running fine. We have a form, as such, screen { ------------------------------- [a1 ] [a2 ] [a3 ] [a1 ] [a2 ] [a3 ] [a1 ] [a2 ] [a3 ] ------------------------------- } attributes a1=formonly, s_empno, reverse, required; a2=formonly, s_start_date, reverse, required; a3=formonly, s_end_date, reverse, required; when we leave the field a2, to get to field a3, the value in a2 will be filled in automatically into a3. This is done via a built-in function. We expect that the end user will only have to either press the <CR> key to accept this default value, or to choose to type in a different value for the a3 field. On version 4.11 Uxx, the program was working fine. But the same program, when it was compiled with the version 4.13 UD1, gave this error message when we run the form : "This field requires an entered value!" It doesn't seems to accept the default values! Has anyone encountered this before? If yes, please provide us with a workaround.... Thanks in advance. Regards -- Jessica Kung
