oninit Cannot find service in /etc/services
I just installed Informix Online 7.11.UC2 on HPUX 10.01, and oninit
-i results in the following going into the log file:
listener thread - error = -931. Cannot locate ixonline service/tcp
service in /etc/services.
---------------------------
/etc/services has the line:
ixonline 1527/tcp # Informix Online Server
-------------------------
$INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts contains the line:
ixonline onsoctcp dbserver ixonline
----------------------------
$INFORMIXDIR/etc/$ONCONFIG has the line
DBSERVERNAME ixonline
------------------------------
It looks to me like all the ducks are in a row. What's going on?
