Lock Mode changes with ESQL/C and IDS 7.30UC5

Hi, we have an application written in C using ESQL/C. The firstthind the application does is opening the database and setting the LOCK MODE TO WAIT 3. It worked fine with IDS 7.24, but now on IDS 7.30UC5 under Reliant Unix 5.43C30 the LOCK MODE changes to NOT WAIT in 'onstat -g sql' after the first SELECT Statement. Does anyone know this problem ? ESQL/C is version 7.20 . Do we need a newer version of ESQL/C and recompile it ???? THANKS OLAF

The current version of ESQL/C is the version included with the SDK v2.20 which is now a free product. This is the release certified for IDS 7.3x. Art S. Kagel
