IDS Cursor Limit

IDS 2000 9.21.FC3 I have an C/S app that every now and then gets an error with the message 'No SQL Cursors remaining'. I have been searching through the group and I am not clear if there is anything I can do to increase the number of cursors. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance T.E.Mammoser

Is there an Informix error number? If I had to guess, some component of your application is generating or managing cursors and has used all the ones it defined -- and is complaining.
